Looking for OFFLINE PNG/JPEG compressor software for Win10. I need help on optimising images for the web I'm a fan of this app for compression. 
Often just applying lossless PNG optimisations using a tool like. Don't use dithering - it harms the compression ratio, so you may as well use a few more colors instead. 256 colors nearly always carries all the information needed without blurring the edges or the text.
macOS Screenshot Tricks to Impress Your Co-Workers If you need to reduce the size of a screenshot it's often better to keep it as a PNG and reduce the number of colors. Some examples are Imgoptim or an online tool like: exif remover. 
Make the web fast again I can, however, remove the encoding by using free software. Now, I just need to drag my image or pdf files and it opens directly. In the image below, I've pinned ImageOptim and PDFSqueezer. Apparently, you can pin apps and not just folders. You just need to press CMD while moving it around in the title bar. In my testing it got better results compared to FileOptimizer on Windows (as well as running significantly faster due to multicore usage)/. Unfortunately it's macOS only, but it runs each photo through multiple tools in order to find the most optimized image.
H265 but for images? However, I've been using ImageOptim to losslessly optimize photos.
